Installing your car cover
Every car, truck and SUV cover we make goes on the same way: find the front, roll it over, strap it down. Two minutes, no tools, no help needed.
The install, start to finish
1–5 minutes, 1 person. Straps, buckles and protectors are all included.
A white tag marks the front end of the cover. Start at the rear of the car and line the tagged end up with the hood.
Roll the cover from the rear toward the front, then pull the sides down evenly over the body.
Walk around once and tug the hem until the cover sits smooth and snug at both ends, no bunching, no bare corners.
Run the front and rear straps under the bumpers and clip the buckles. The elastic hem plus straps keep wind out for good.

The included straps handle everyday weather. For exposed driveways, open lots and coastal or high-wind areas, a set of heavy-duty wind straps anchors the cover front and rear so gusts never work it loose. Cheap insurance for the cover and the paint. You will also see the option to add them in your cart and at checkout.

Every car, truck, hearse and limousine cover, in every grade, includes a self-adhesive antenna patch in the box. Non-retractable antenna? Fit the cover, mark where the antenna touches, make a small opening, and press the patch over it. Two minutes, no tools.
The don'ts that keep cover and vehicle perfect
Removal & storage
Unclip the straps and roll the cover back from front to rear. Fold it flat, roll it tight, and keep it in the storage bag so it stays clean between uses.
Make sure the cover is completely dry before you put it in the bag. A damp cover in a closed bag will grow mildew.
Cleaning
Hand wash with mild soap and water and let it air dry, easiest with the cover on the vehicle. If you must machine wash, cold water and a mild cleaner only.

How do I know which end is the front?+
Every cover has a white tag marking the front. Even when the tag doesn't say "FRONT," the tagged end always goes at the front of the car.
How does the cable lock work?+
Gold Shield 5L and Supreme Shield HD covers include a cable, lock and key. Thread the cable through the grommets at the cover's midpoint, pass it under the car, and click the lock shut. Now the cover stays put, and stays yours. Cable lock installation guide →
What do I do about a non-retractable antenna?+

What are heavy-duty wind straps?+
Optional extra straps that anchor the front and rear of the cover. The included straps handle everyday weather; in exposed, gusty spots like open lots, coastal parking and high-wind areas, a heavy-duty set keeps the cover locked down for good.
