Installing your pop-up camper cover
With the roof folded down, a pop-up camper is barely taller than a car, which makes this the easiest trailer cover install we ship. One person, a few minutes, done.
Two minutes of prep saves the cover.
Wash the camper first, grit under the fabric is what wears both finishes.
Pad anything sharp: gutter spouts, awning arms, racks, bumper corners. The included gutter protectors go on before the cover does.
Close windows and vents, retract antennas and awnings, and shut off propane.
Fold the roof fully down and latch it before covering, the cover is cut for the collapsed profile.
The install, start to finish
5–10 minutes, 1 person. Straps, buckles and protectors are all included.
Open the cover on a clean driveway and release every strap and buckle.
Lay it roof-panel up and find the white FRONT tag so it goes on facing the right way.
Fold both side panels in toward the roof, then roll the whole cover from back to front like a sleeping bag.
With the roof collapsed, you can place the rolled cover from the ground or a small step stool, no ladder needed.
Walk the roll toward the back, letting the side panels drop down as you go.
Seat the gutter protectors as the fabric comes down over them.
Square the cover on the rig before touching a single strap, even overhang at both ends.
Secure the bottom corners, then work the straps and buckles along the sides to pull out the slack.
Clip the weighted toss bag to each under-body strap and toss it across, no crawling.
Snug everything down. A properly fitted cover barely moves in light wind; re-tighten once after the first day.
The don'ts that keep cover and rig perfect
Removal & storage
Reverse the install: loosen straps, lift the sides, roll from the rear back to the front, brush off debris and fold it tight into the storage bag.
Make sure the cover is completely dry before you put it in the bag. A damp cover in a closed bag will grow mildew.
Cleaning
Hand-clean only, and the easiest way is with the cover on. Rinse it down with a garden hose, wash gently with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner, rinse again and let it air-dry fully before folding it away.

Quick answers
How do I know which end is the front?+
Every cover has a white tag marking the front. Even when the tag doesn't say "FRONT," the tagged end always goes at the front of the camper.
What are the vertical zippers for?+
They open into access panels so you can get inside without taking the whole cover off. Velcro straps inside hold the panels open while you use the door.
Can I repair a small tear myself?+
Yes. The included repair patch handles punctures and tears under 3 inches. Clean and dry the spot, trim loose threads, round the patch corners, overlap the damage by 1–2 inches, press firmly from the center out, and give it 12–24 hours to cure before the cover goes back on. For extra strength, patch both sides.
How do the rain gutter protectors work?+
Wrap one over each gutter spout and close the Velcro. All four together keep the sharpest edges on the rig from chewing through the fabric.
What is the weighted toss bag for?+
Fill it with sand or a few small stones, clip it to a strap, and toss it under the camper. It carries the strap across so you never have to crawl underneath.
