Setting up your indoor inflatable bubble

The bubble is the easiest "cover" we sell: lay it flat, plug in the fans, drive on, zip up. Ten minutes from box to fully inflated, and the fans do all the work from then on.

What's in the box
1 × Inflatable bubble
2 × Fans (1 on motorcycle/scooter sizes)

1 × Storage bag
Step by step

The install, start to finish

5–10 minutes, 1 person. Straps, buckles and protectors are all included.

1
Lay it out flat

Unfold the bubble on smooth, clean floor. Unzip the clear top and fold it back toward the air-intake end.

2
Mount the fans

Velcro the fan panel in place, feed the power lead through the port in the base mat, and plug in. (You can pre-inflate for a few hours to relax the material.)

3
Drive onto the mat

Three guide lines on the mat make centering easy. Roll straight on and avoid turning the wheels while on the mat.

4
Drape the canopy

Unfold the clear PVC gently over the vehicle, no pulling or tugging.

5
Zip it shut

Run both zippers around the base until they meet.

6
Fans on

Switch on and watch it rise, 5 to 7 minutes to full inflation. Free the PVC gently if it catches on a mirror or spoiler.

7
Steam out wrinkles

Optional: a garment steamer on the outside of the PVC leaves the capsule crystal clear.

The don'ts that keep cover and vehicle perfect

First use: inflate it empty once so the material relaxes
Below 50°F / 10°C, let it warm up indoors for 24 hours before inflating
Leave the vehicle windows at least half open inside the bubble
Convertibles: top up but unlatched, to spare the seals
Never put a car cover on the vehicle inside the bubble, it traps moisture
Store it dry, off the floor, away from rodents
Taking it off

Removal & storage

Fans off, unplug, give it a few minutes to soften. Unzip fully, fold the clear cover back toward the intake end, and drive straight off the mat. Wipe down anything damp, then fold mat and canopy together into the storage bag.

Make sure the cover is completely dry before you put it in the bag. A damp cover in a closed bag will grow mildew.

Keeping it fresh

Cleaning

A soft car duster handles everyday dust. For real dirt: warm water and mild dish soap on a soft cloth, rinse well, air-dry fully before folding.

  • No harsh chemicals, bleach or abrasive pads
  • No pressure washers
  • Never fold or store it damp

Quick answers

Which end is the front?+

The fan end. The fans always sit at the front of the bubble, so orientation is obvious at a glance.

How long does inflation take?+

Usually 5–7 minutes. Bigger capsules take a touch longer; motorcycle and scooter sizes pop up faster.

Do the fans run all the time?+

Yes, continuous airflow is what keeps it inflated and the air inside clean and dry. They sip power like a small household appliance.

Do I need a perfectly flat floor?+

Smooth and mostly flat is ideal. Gentle slopes are fine; avoid rough or sharp surfaces that could wear the base mat.

Will it clear my mirrors and spoiler?+

Yes. The capsule expands around normal vehicle shapes, just guide the PVC gently past anything it snags on during inflation.

Can one person set it up?+

Yes. A helper is only handy for draping the canopy over very large vehicles.
