This installation guide shows you everything included with your ATV Cover, step-by-step installation instructions, and answers to common questions.
Please note: This guide is specifically created for ATVs and works with all ATV models.
What’s Included
- 1 x ATV Cover
- 1 x Storage Bag
- 1 x Strap and Buckle sewn into the middle of the cover for secure fastening
Step-by-Step Installation
- Step 1: Identify the front label tag on the cover (may not always say “FRONT”). Begin at the back of your ATV and roll the cover forward.
- Step 2: Center the cover and pull it down evenly over the sides, making sure handlebars are fully covered.
- Step 3: Adjust the cover until it fits snugly over the front and rear of the ATV.
- Step 4: Use the built-in straps by running them underneath the ATV and clipping them into place to secure the fit.
Important Warnings
- Never cover a wet ATV.
- Allow the engine and exhaust system to cool completely before covering.
- Ensure the seat, handlebars, and racks are dry before applying the cover.
- Do not cover a freshly painted ATV until the paint has cured fully.
- If waxed recently, confirm the ATV is completely dry before covering.
- Avoid covering immediately after riding—let the ATV cool first.
- After strong sun exposure, let the ATV cool before installing the cover.
Removing Your ATV Cover
To remove, unclip the straps and roll the cover off from front to back. Fold it neatly and store it in the provided storage bag to keep it clean and ready for the next use. Proper storage prevents wrinkles, damage, and prolongs the life of your ATV cover.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which side is the front?
Look for the white tag indicating the front. Even if not marked “FRONT,” this is still the front side of the cover.
How should I wash my ATV cover?
For the best results, hand washing is recommended. Install the cover on your ATV, rinse thoroughly with water to remove dust and debris, then clean with a soft cloth and a mild multi-purpose cleaner. Rinse again and either towel dry or allow the cover to air dry completely.
If machine washing is preferred, use a gentle cycle with cold water only. Dilute 1/4 cup of Simple Green in 1 cup of water and wash without bleach or fabric softener. Never use harsh chemicals, as they can damage the fabric.
