Mazda plans to launch four models under its Large Product Group in the global market, where there is high demand for SUVs, by the end of 2023. After launching the CX-60 last year, the CX-90 is the second car model in Mazda's list.

Exterior Design of 2024 Mazda CX-90
The CX-90 design expresses a feeling of vitality rooted in Mazda's KODO or “Soul of Motion” design theme. The aesthetic of subtraction or “less is more” produces a simple shape and realizes dynamic and majestic proportions.
Front Design
On the front of the car, the Mazda CX-90 is equipped with a large black painted grille, surrounded by a shiny chrome plated brace. On both sides of the grille are headlights surrounded by "L" shaped LED daytime running lights. This design is very similar to the Mazda CX-60. In addition, this LED daytime positioning light strip is also extended inside, to the vehicle's radiator grille.

The first is a mild hybrid engine using a 3.3-liter, 6-cylinder in-line, turbocharged gasoline engine. This engine can generate a maximum power of 340 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. A 48V electric motor is placed between the engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission for a smooth driving experience. This is the most powerful engine of Mazda today.
The second is a plug-in hybrid engine (PHEV) equipped with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder gasoline engine combined with an electric motor (17.8 kWh battery), and an 8-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain produces a maximum capacity of 323 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. However, the pure electric distance that can be traveled by this 2024 Mazda CX-90 plug-in hybrid engine is 30-48 km.
Regardless of the engine, the car is still equipped with full-time 4-wheel drive and a new chassis. In addition, the Kinetic Posture Control electronic control system (shared from the MX-5 Miata sports car) helps adjust braking force when cornering to increase agility, helping the car to be more stable.
